Mary shares, "Living three decades in active food addiction was the hardest thing I have ever endured. Now with three decades of abstinence and recovery, I experience complete freedom from addictive cravings and obsession."
For many years she and her partner/husband led what is now Shift Recovery by Acorn (INFACT School partner) helping many people recover from food addiction and find the solution. For over 30 years Mary has worked a 12-step program which has involved measuring her food and working with others.
Mary shares the common experience with a number of our guests, recovered addicts as well as working professionally in the food addiction treatment field.
